Your connection starts on the fibre network at the local exchange.
Broadband Internet
Experience lightning-fast internet speeds with our Full Fibre Broadband service. Also known as Fibre to the Premises (FTTP), Full Fibre delivers fibre optic connectivity directly to your premises, removing the reliance on traditional copper cabling and helping your business stay fast, productive and connected.
FTTP uses fibre optic cable all the way from the exchange through the fibre network and directly into your premises, giving your business a fast, modern and reliable broadband connection.
Your connection starts on the fibre network at the local exchange.
Ultrafast fibre optic cable carries the connection through the network.
Fibre runs directly into your business premises rather than relying on the old copper telephone line.
Why FTTP?
Delivering speeds up to 1Gbps. FTTP, unlike FTTC, uses fibre optic cable all the way to your premises, making it the fastest type of fixed broadband connection available across our FTTP services.
FTTP is a pure fibre connection from the exchange into your premises, helping deliver faster and more reliable broadband than a typical FTTC connection without the same copper cable run-distance limitations.
Get better performance, impressive speeds and fewer drop-outs with fibre connected directly to your premises. The service is designed to provide the bandwidth available on your chosen FTTP package.
There is no longer any need for an old-fashioned analogue phone line for the broadband service, helping simplify your connectivity and remove the need for separate traditional line rental.
Support the growing demands of modern business devices and cloud services, from phones, tablets and laptops to video meetings and other connected technology.
FTTP supports the UK's move away from traditional PSTN services and towards modern full-fibre and IP-based communications.
FTTP provides internet speeds of up to 1Gbps, enabling faster uploads and downloads compared with traditional broadband technologies. This speed is ideal for data-intensive operations and activities such as video conferencing, large file transfers, and accessing cloud-based services.
You will need a VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) voice product such as PhoneLine+ or a hosted telephony platform like our Hosted Cloud Phone system if you want to continue to make and receive voice calls and use your existing telephone number.
This replaces the old copper telephone service as traditional copper-based voice services are phased out.
It is essential that the porting of any existing phone numbers is completed before the existing service is switched to FTTP, otherwise numbers can be irretrievably lost.
